Overall

In a draft considered light on for talented key forward prospects, Battle is one of the most exciting forwards on offer.

Battle kicked 24 goals in eight TAC Cup games with the Dandenong Stingrays this season and not only has the ability to take marks both in the air and on the lead, but is also good at ground level.

He is relatively small for a forward, at just 192cm, which may hold him back in some recruiter's eyes, however, when he gets chances in front of goal, he is clinical.

For a player of his size, he also has brilliant endurace, meaning he may play as a third running tall in the forward line. He finished in the top 10 in the 3km time trial at the draft combine and he runs a 15 beep test.

He also has a great attitude and work ethic and gets to plenty of contests.
