Fantasy time of the year is always a very fun one, making your team from scratch with cash cows and premiums alike.

It seems every person you talk to has a few rookies they know are playing round one or a cash cow who is burning up the training track.

But for every player about to have a boom year, there is a player that will fall away or not live up to their price tag.

But who are those players? Who are the ones that will let us down? We have listed 10 names that won't live up to their price tag, score as well as some are projecting them to or just generally disappoint.

1. Jack Macrae

AFL Fantasy Price: $860,000

SuperCoach Price: $650,100

Macrae is a genuine star of the competition but he is one to avoid purely because of the volume of midfielders at the disposal of Luke Beveridge in 2021. An already stacked midfield has added Adam Treloar, which will make genuine midfield time a priceless commodity at the Whitten Oval.

Macrae's point scoring ability isn't being questioned here, but at his price, we'd be hoping for more trust in his role and ability to score the numbers that have made him an elite option in recent seasons.

This chain of thought could be applied to just about every Bulldogs midfielder...
