Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore will train tomorrow as he continues to work his way through concussion protocols.

The veteran has had a long history of head knocks which the club is cautious of after suffering a concussion in the loss to Geelong two weeks ago.

“Tom continues to progress through our concussion protocols - our doctors continue to work through a process with Tom that is diligent and thorough to determine a return-to-play plan," Dogs head of sports medicine Chris Bell said.

“Once he has successfully completed all elements of the return-to-play concussion protocol and reintegrates back into full contact training, we will update his status and plan.

Ruck Tim English and forwards Arty Jones and Aaron Naughton are also tests to return.

English has been sidelined with a knee injury, with the club to make a decision on his availability following its main training session on Wednesday.

Jones had a game-like training session last weekend and provided he gets through main training as expected, he will return to availability.

Naughton amazingly remains in the frame to return following his sickening landing in a marking contest on Friday night.

“Scans following the Sydney game cleared Aaron of any serious bone, spinal and nerve damage related to his fall from a marking contest,” Bell said.

“Aaron's muscular neck symptoms from the overstretching mechanism have continued to improve over the last 72 hours, so we will continue to monitor him ahead of our main training this week.
