Essendon's Zach Merrett may find himself in hot water with the Match Review Panel after this incident involving Carlton's Lachie Plowman.
Midway through the second quarter a scuffle broke out on the wing, before Merrett looked to hit Plowman in the chest with a closed fist.
Given the AFL's crackdown on punching of any kind, Merrett may have a case to answer for.
The incident not only caught the eyes of fans on social media but with betting agencies too, with the TAB suspending Merrett's Brownlow Medal odds.
