St Kilda are believed to be in the race for young Giants ball-winner Jye Caldwell, per the Herald Sun.

The 19-year-old is set to be attracting interest from a number of Victorian clubs despite the Giants remaining confident in keeping the Bendigo product in Western Sydney.

The Saints have comfortably moved into the top eight in 2020 and are now looking to add midfield stocks to their list in hope of breaking into a premiership window.

Caldwell has proven to be a powerful onballer in just his second season with the Giants, after being selected at 11th overall in the 2018 draft.

The midfielder has played nine games for Leon Cameron, finding company alongside some of the league's best midfielders in the Giants engine room.
