Richmond have issued talented Western Australian youngster Sydney Stack an invitation to train with them as the Tigers look to add the teenager to their list.

As reported by AFL Media, the Tigers are waiting for their request to be approved from the AFL, which would allow Stack to arrive at Tigerland on December 1.

Stack could train with the Tigers during the pre-season supplemental selection period until March 15 and join their list under the new rookie rules.

The speedster was overlooked at last week's draft after reportedly failing to meet training standards, despite earning selection in the Under-18 All Australian team and the Perth's Colts side in the WAFL in round 19.
