The Western Bulldogs are counting the cost of their win over Carlton, with several key players suffering potentially serious injuries.
The Dogs defeated the Blues 13.7 (85) to 7.7 (49) at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night, to move to top spot on the ladder.
But after losing captain Bob Murphy to a season ending knee injury last week, the Bulldogs have suffered more casualties, with Jason Johannisen, Tom Boyd and Matthew Suckling all injured.
Running backman Johannisen, who has been one of the Bulldogs' best players this season, injured his hamstring in the third quarter after kicking a long goal from outside 50 and sat out the remainder of the game.

Former Hawk Matthew Suckling rolled his ankle in a contest in the third quarter, however, he later returned to the field and played out the match.
Meanwhile, Bulldogs listed youngster Josh Prudden suffered an ACL injury during Footscray's VFL clash with Richmond earlier on Saturday afternoon.
