Hawthorn's Changkuoth Jiath has reportedly been linked with a move despite holding a deal that expires at the end of 2027.
According to Channel 7's Mitch Cleary, "there is a mutual understanding with the Hawks that he explores the market".
The speedy Hawk has played 76 games since he was drafted as a category B Rookie ahead of the 2018 season.

Obvious links to Merrett dealings but can also sit separate.

The Xavier product was a consistent contributor in 2025, playing a career-high 20 matches; however, six of those were as a sub.
The trade talk comes as Jiath could be looking for a more permanent fixture in an AFL side, but also the club's heavy interest in luring Zach Merrett from Essendon.
The Bombers are set to stand firm on retaining their captain, or considering a godfather offer.
The Tullamarine club already holds two top 10 picks, and appears interested in established players to help accelerate their rebuild.
Last month, reports indicated that Carlton and Fremantle had flagged their interest in Jiath, although the latter has since landed Melbourne's Judd McVee.
The Blues could look at bolstering their half-back stocks, which the 26-year-old could assist with.
It is largely understood that Hawthorn will need a third club to help broker a trade that would ultimately help land Merrett.
