Adelaide defender Daniel Talia is set to undergo knee surgery, after aggravating an injury while at home.

Talia will be out for the remainder of the year, but will be back up and running early in the new year.

“He’s aggravated an old injury in an innocuous incident at home,” Adelaide’s High Performance General Manager Matt Hass told afc.com.au.

“The procedure will interrupt Daniel’s preseason and the Club will provide an update on the timeframes around his rehabilitation once the surgery has been completed.”

There is no timeframe for Talia’s return.
