GWS midfielder Stephen Coniglio will be one of the hottest names on the trade table at the end of the season, as rival clubs line up for his services.

Coniglio will be a free agent at season's end, with Victorian clubs leading the race for the 25-year-old.

AFL Nation journalist Mitch Cleary spoke to SEN on Friday night regarding a number of players on the trade table, and touched on Coniglio's situation.

However, despite the interest from Victorian sides, Coniglio would be better off heading west if he's after the most money, with hometown club Fremantle reportedly set to offer him the biggest salary.

“Hawthorn and Carlton in Victoria are coming for him," Cleary said on Friday night.

“Watch the Dockers, they’ll probably have the most cash on Coniglio.”

Coniglio has played 123 games for GWS during his career, and has averages of 24.7 disposals, 4.7 clearances and 4.8 tackles across his eight seasons at the Giants.
