Port Adelaide have confirmed that Tom Jonas will continue as club captain as part of a new-look, three-man leadership team in 2022.

Jonas enters his fourth season as captain, with Ollie Wines and Darcy Byrne-Jones serving alongside the skipper.

Byrne-Jones remains in the leadership team for a second year after a standout All Australian year in 2020. Brownlow Medalist Wines remains in the group for the eighth consecutive year after earning a nod in 2015 in just his third season.

Coach Ken Hinkley praised his leadership team, saying that the group led from the front both on and off the field.

“We are really fortunate to have a strong group of leaders at our club, and none more so than Tom,” Hinkley said.

“He leads by example on and off the field and drives the standards expected of those who represent the Port Adelaide Football Club.

“There is no doubt that Tom, Ollie and Darcy are the right leaders to take our club forward.”
