Over 20,000 turn out for Bulldogs’ Whitten Oval celebrations

More than 20,000 fans turned out to celebrate the Western Bulldogs’ first premiership triumph in 62 years at Whitten Oval on Sunday.

Bulldogs legend Doug Hawkins entertained the crowd as he wiped away tears while fansย waited for their premiership heroes to be presented.

The new premiership players were then presented to the crowd to an incredible ovation. Luke Dahlhaus led the team song in his traditional role as the fans joined in a raucous rendition of the club anthem.
