Former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire is understood to be stepping away from his duties with AFL broadcaster Fox Footy.

The former Nine Network CEO is set to continue to feature on Channel Nine programs Footy Classified and Hot Seat Millionaire, however will headline a number of personnel changes for Fox.

The 57-year-old has been one of Fox Footy's more prominent commentators in recent years, having built a journalistic career with The Herald Sun, Channel Seven, Triple M, SEN and Nine across his well-documented career in the media.
