According to SEN Breakfast host Tim Watson, the AFL Footy Show is set to return later in the year, and likely as a grand final show.
Watson believes the revival is "locked in", with Eddie McGuire and Sam Newman set to host the one-off show.
“Take this to the bank. The Footy Show will be re-formed in some guise,” Watson told SEN Breakfast on Wednesday morning.
“There will be a Grand Final show again this year.
“Not a big Rod Laver Arena show, but a big Grand Final Footy Show.
