Geelong’s Gary Ablett can accept a one-match ban for his bump on Essendon’s Dylan Shiel on Sunday.

Ablett was hit with a one-match ban, after Match Review Officier Michael Christian deemed the incident as intentional conduct with low impact to the head.

If Ablett missed the game through suspension, it would be the first of his career.

Brisbane’s Eric Hipwood ($2000), Western Bulldogs’ Billy Gowers ($1000), and Gold Coast trio Jack Martin, Alex Sexton and Ben Ainsworth ($1000) were all fined for separate incidents.
