Brisbane draftee Jarrod Berry will miss around six weeks of pre-season training following knee surgery.

The 18-year-old, who was selected with pick No.17 in the 2016 National Draft, had been experiencing discomfort in his knee for the majority of the pre-season campaign.

However, the club expects him to be fit for the beginning of the home and away season.
