The Western Bulldogs have confirmed the departure of recruitment manager Dom Milesi, whose more than 20-year tenure in the AFL list management and recruitment field comes to an end.
Milesi has spent the past five years with the Dogs working alongside recently-appointed football boss Sam Power as an integral part of the club's list build.
The 45-year-old joined the Western Bulldogs after an extended period at Collingwood, while he also worked with Hawthorn in the mid-2000s.
The Bulldogs confirmed on Thursday that Milesi has left his role, securing a leadership position in the grassroots football space.
"I've absolutely loved my time at the Western Bulldogs,โ Milesi said.ย
"While this was an extremely difficult decision to make having spent the past five seasons here, I've made some lifelong friends and thoroughly enjoyed bringing young players into Mission Whitten Oval.
"Having worked in recruiting for more than half my life, the opportunity to remain in football with the ability to spend more time with my young family was important to me moving forward.

"I thank the Club for everything they've done for me, particularly Sam Power and our recruiting team. I look forward to watching Bulldogs games from the stands."
The change comes after this week's announcement that list manager Sam Power had been appointed to the Men's executive manager of football role after holding the title on an interim basis in the wake of Chris Grant's exit.
The Bulldogs are set to commence a search to secure Milesi's replacement, while Power is still expected to play an integral role in the club's list and recruitment strategies.
