Fremantle defender Brennan Cox has signed a new contract with the Dockers to remain in purple until the end of the 2024 season.
Cox first joined the Western Australian club via the 2016 National Draft following his emergence with SANFL side the Woodville-West Torrens, winning a place at centre half-back in the Under 18s National Championships' All-Australian side.
Taken with Pick 41, the 23-year-old has since played 59 games for the Dockers across his five seasons in the AFL, mostly as a key defender.

Speaking on his new deal, Cox stated his excitement for the future of Fremantle.
โIt feels really good (to sign on), Iโm really excited about the group we have and the way the future is looking,โ Cox said.
โWeโve got a really good bunch of boys and Iโm excited to grow as a player and get stuck into this season.
โIโm excited by the growth area, we are so young and thereโs still not many games played amongst the whole group.โ
The South Australian played the opening 12 games of the 2021 season before sustaining a hamstring injury, which kept him sidelined for the remainder of the year.
Cox, along with fellow five-year plus players, will commence pre-season training in early December as the Dockers eye a return to finals football in 2022.
