Melbourne livewire Kysaiah Pickett and Adelaide forward Darcy Fogarty are both likely to gain the attention of the Match Review Officer following the Demons' Round 16 win over the Crows on Saturday night.

Pickett will face a nervous wait on Sunday for his swinging arm on Adelaide defender Jordon Butts, who was left craddling on the ground after the incident in question.

With just over five minutes remaining in the third term of the game, Butts gained possession and quickly disposed of the ball before being met with Pickett, who opted not to tackle or bump and instead swing his right arm into Butts' torso.

The Crows backman was soon assisted to his feet and off the turf at Adelaide Oval before gaining further help from club medical staff on the sidelines.

A charge that is deemed as careless conduct, medium impact and body contact could see Pickett escape with a fine, but upgraded assessments of either the conduct (careless to intentional) or impact (medium to high) would result in one-match bans.

Meanwhile, Fogarty faces a similar fate after his body blow to Melbourne's Jake Lever.

Amid a mild scuffle between the two players, Lever is seen pushing Fogarty before the Adelaide spearhead retaliated with a punch to Lever's stomach.

Lever was left grimacing on the ground and under the attention of medicos before being able to play out the match shortly after.

Like Pickett, Fogarty is likely to face either a fine or one-match suspension for his hit on Lever.

Should he escape suspension, the 22-year-old is no certainty to feature in Adelaide's upcoming clash with Hawthorn after suffering a dislocated finger in the 29-point loss to Melbourne.

Darcy Fogarty suffered a compound dislocation of his finger in the first quarter," Adelaide High Performance Manager Darren Burgess told the club's website post-game.

"He was treated by medical staff and able to play out the game, and will be assessed in coming days.”

The Crows are scheduled to travel to Marvel Stadium for next Sunday's clash with the Hawks, while Melbourne will journey down to Kardinia Park to face Geelong on Thursday night.
