Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker declared Izak Rankine available for selection, pending he gets through the week's training ahead of Saturday's intriguing clash against Melbourne.
Rankine suffered a moderate calf strain in May, but despite being ticked off last week, the Crows held him back.
Walker is also pushing for a senior recall after he served his one-game suspension, missing the win over the Western Bulldogs.
The key forward trained strongly last Friday alongside Rankine, Mitch Hinge and Isaac Cumming in the rehab group in a bid to push for selection. Walker understands the forward-line squeeze at West Lakes, with Toby Murray working well as a second ruck alongside Lachlan McAndrew.
Riley Thilthorpe was a handful against the Bulldogs, while Darcy Fogarty was another lively option inside 50.
But the Crows have yet to trial four genuine talls inside 50, which Walker thinks isn't the way forward.
"It's up to Nicksy (Matthew Nicks) and the coaches now, there's a few of us that are available to play, so we will see how it plays out," Walker said on Triple M.
"I think we look better a little bit smaller ahead of the ball. That's not to say you can't play us all (all four tall forwards) but probably not on the field at one time."
Defender Mark Keane is also pushing for selection after spending the past fortnight in the SANFL.
Keane suffered a lower leg fracture in February, and has made strides towards an AFL return in recent weeks.
He gathered 17 and 19 possessions in the reserves, putting pressure on the likes of James Borlase and Nick Murray.
