Carlton's Ed Curnow will be free to face Melbourne on Sunday after the Blues successfully downgraded his intentional contact charge to careless.
Curnow has been hit with a $1000 fine.
Curnow was seen placing his right hand on the chest of the umpire, and was referred directly to the Tribunal by match review officer Michael Christian on Monday.

The Tribunal said they couldnโt be satisfied he made deliberate contact with the umpire.
Both Curnow brothers will now be available to face Melbourne this weekend.
