The Blues have sacked senior coach Brendan Bolton, according to various reports.
It comes amid the club's horror 1-10 start to the season, with the players and staff reportedly being informed of the decision during a 1pm meeting on Monday.
Carlton will hold a press conference at 2.15pm today where the announcement will be made official.
The Blues are on track for back-to-back wooden spoons, including their sixth since 2002, and have won just four of their last 43 matches.
The 40-year old took over the role in August 2015.
