Carlton has made three list changes after their disappointing 2022 season which lead to a full-scale review of its AFLW football program.

Poppy Schaap, Charlotte Hammans and Jessica Jones have all been cut by a Blues outfit that enjoyed just two wins last season and finished the season in 14th position.

Schapp's name was the most surprising of the trio after making a late-season cameo that saw her boot three goals in the final two games of the season in a team that struggled to hit the scoreboard.

Hammans arrived at Ikon Park from the Gold Coast Suns and played five games for the "game changers" over three seasons.

Jones didn't make a senior appearance for the club.

General Manager of Women's Football Brett Munro thanked all three players for their efforts during their stints in navy blue.

“These players have made a positive impact at the Club during their time here and we thank them for their diligence to the program,” Munro said.

“Poppy has an impeccable work ethic and was ready whenever called upon, Charlotte continued to work on her development and hone her craft, and although Jessica didn't debut, she showed great enthusiasm during her time with us.

“While it is disappointing that we can no longer accommodate Poppy, Charlotte, and Jessica, we wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavours.”
