Comedian Danny McGinlay (aka The Banner Man) is known for taunting AFL teams and tonight's line up is no exception.

On his imagined Carlton banner, McGinlay is quick to bring up bring up Brisbane's latest scandal, with a cheeky reference to their controversial whiteboard which was leaked last week.

The whiteboard, which was spotted in the Lions' change room, featured a list of opposing players and their perceived weaknesses.

However it's Brisbane fans who get the last laugh as the Carlton banner self deprecatingly admits that, in order to list all the Blues' weakness, the Lions will need a much bigger whiteboard.

Carlton takes a double hit this week with McGinley's Brisbane banner also taking a knock at the Blues, this time picking on their (painfully ironic) theme song. It's unfortunately true, with only one win this season and a well established pattern of falling short in the second half, the idea of Carlton as "the team that never lets you down" is laughable.

Turning his attention to the Bulldogs vs Port Adelaide game, McGinley is no less savage. His Port Adelaide banner pokes fun at the Bulldogs' ruckman and referencing Jordon Sweet who was traded to Port Adelaide from the Bulldogs in 2023.

The Bulldog's banner hits back with a timely Zak Butters reference. Butters, who was recently voted Port Adelaide's best player on Zero Hanger's AFL Player Ratings, will be a free agent at the end of the season and rumours suggest he is considering a move to Port Adelaide. The reference, in McGinlay's signature rhyming humour, is bound to get under Port fans' skins.

Brisbane

If you ever need a laugh
to get rid of a frown
Just remember Carlton call themselves
"The team that never lets you down."

Carlton

It's hard to find positives
But just for the record
Wanna list all our weakness?
You'll need a much bigger whiteboard.

Port Adelaide

A friendly tip for the Doggies
To help you compete
Having more than one ruckman
Is pretty damn "Sweet".

Western Bulldogs

If the rumours are true
And we didn't mishear
We'll just say hi there Zak Butters
We can't wait for next year.
