Vic Country have confirmed a 32-player squad for the 2024 U18s National Championships ahead of their opening game this weekend against South Australia.

Set to be led by Geelong Falcons boys coach Paul Corrigan, the squad is littered with draft stars for both this year and 2025.

Headlining the Vic Country crop is midfielder and potential Pick 1 prospect Finn O'Sullivan, who was among the side's best performers during his bottom-age campaign last carnival.

The Koroit product is joined by fellow 2024 top 10 draft chances Sam Lalor, Harvey Langford and Jonty Faull in the squad.

Xavier Lindsay, Archer Day-Wicks, Tobie Travaglia, Noah Mraz and Whitlock brothers Jack and Matt join the quartet having been part of the AFL Academy and will represent Vic Country in 2024.

Others to feature in the squad are over-age defender Riak Andrew, ruckman Flynn Perry and small forward Joe Berry.

Key defender Willem Duursma - the younger brother of AFL/W trio Xavier, Yasmin and Zane - is also among the top names to feature in the squad following his dominant U16s carnival for Vic Country last year.

Vic Country's opening game is set to be held this Sunday at IKON Park against South Australia at 12:30 pm (AEST).
