Adelaide coaching director Murray Davis has reaffirmed his desire to be an AFL senior coach after falling short in the Essendon coaching race.
Davis was part of the shortlist at the Bombers who ultimately selected Mark McVeigh, but was praised widely by the Crows fraternity as an unheralded name worth an opportunity in the future.
"The process was really thorough (and) I loved every minute of it," Davis said on ABC Grandstand.
"I got some great feedback and that will hold me in great stead down the track.
"Should there be another club out there that would like me to go through the process I would certainly put my hand up again."
Davis also has experience at Brisbane prior to arriving at Adelaide with his work across the footy department at different clubs and expressed his readiness when spoken to by SEN during the process.
"I've always been ambitious," he said in July.
"I think early on I was in a bit of a rush to be honest. I've learnt over time that there's nothing greater than experience. As time has gone on and I've been able to do different roles and experiences, I feel certainly ready to step into that role and feel like I can add value."
