Injured Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn has followed through on his Twitter promise, shaving his beard into the model that fans selected for him last week.
Gawn took to Twitter last Monday and asked fans what mould he should have his beard into, and the fans answered the call, asking for Gawn to rock the 'Sparrow' look.

The big man followed through, and posted this picture of his new look to Instagram.
However, in the end he opted to go with a mustache as the final product.
