West Coast coach Adam Simpson says it "doesn't look good" for star ruckman Nic Naitanui, after he limped off during the second quarter of the Eagles' clash with Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday.

Naitanui injured himself in a marking contest, was caught limping badly in the rooms by changeroom cameras.

Simpson spoke to Fox Footy's David King during the half-time break, and looked visibly upset while delivering the news.

It's the other knee to the one that suffered an ACL injury in 2016, which forced him to miss the entire 2018 campaign.

MORE TO COME.
