Richmond star Dustin Martin has been handed a $2500 fine for obscene gestures made during the Tigers' loss to GWS on Saturday.

AFL.com.au believe Martin has been fined $7500 in total, although $5000 of that has been suspended until the end of the 2020 season.

Martin allegedly made the gestures to Giants ruckman Shane Mumford, which included sticking his middle finger up at the ruckman, as well as putting his finger to his nose to signal drug use.

The 2017 Brownlow Medallist apologised for his actions on Twitter.
