Despite protracted injury woes in the recent past, veteran Eagle Elliot Yeo is said to be drawing rival interest in the exchange market.
Set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end, Yeo has enjoyed a bounce-back 2024 season, with the premiership player earning best-afield honours in the Eagles' shock Derby win last Saturday night.
Though no particular rival has been raised as leading any race for Yeo's signature, Callum Twomey of AFL Media has reported that the 30-year-old's value is on the rise.
It comes after both Essendon and Geelong were said to have thrown their hat in the ring at the cessation of the 2023 season, with both rebuffed as Yeo remained in blue and gold.
Still, Twomey also stated that the Eagles are in no rush to extend the dual All-Australian's tenure at Lathlain Park, with no new contract currently tabled to Yeo or his management.
Since debuting for Brisbane in 2012, Yeo has played 198 senior games, claiming a pair of All-Australian blazers in 2017 and 2019, a set of John Worsfold Medals in 2017 and 2018, as well as a premiership medallion in 2018.
