The AFL has released the 2021 All-Australian 40-man squad, which is headlined by a plethora of new faces.

The Demons are the most dominant side in the squad, managing to have seven inclusions, while the Brisbane lions have managed five of their own.

Collingwood, North Melbourne and Richmond are the three clubs to miss out on a selection into the squad.

21 players selected currently do not own an All-Australian blazer, while Swans veteran Lance Franklin is eyeing a record ninth nod, potentially joining the likes of Gary Ablett jnr, Patrick Dangerfield, Robert Harvey and Mark Ricciuto as the only players to do so.

A number of players are touted to be unlucky in missing selection, including Harris Andrews, Jack Riewoldt, Cameron Guthrie, Josh Kelly and Josh Bruce.
