It's officially the AFL off-season, with free agency opening on Friday and the 2025 Trade Period will follow just days later.

All 18 clubs look set to be active in the player movement space, with some busier than others in looking to lure talent through their doors.

St Kilda, Geelong and Brisbane look to be among the more aggressive clubs in chasing top-line talent, while clubs like Fremantle and Richmond are seemingly more likely to place more of a focus on the draft.

Here we've looked at every club's potential trade and free agency moves, their current crop of off-contract players, confirmed departures and draft hand for the off-season.

The Suns are keen to establish a new trend of becoming a destination club, following their strong off-season recruitment in 2024. This year, the Queensland club has been linked to Carlton spearhead Charlie Curnow, who might just be the best player on the open market. If a move for the two-time Coleman Medal winner falls short, the Suns could turn their attention to a gamble on Dogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, who seems to be running out of options. Melbourne gun Christian Petracca and Collingwood ace Jamie Elliott have also been tied to the Carrara club, but whether they seek moves elsewhere remains to be seen. What could help Gold Coast's pursuit of a star player while also keeping the draft points required to match bids for their Academy kids is the likely exit of Sam Flanders, who will cost a rival their first-round pick at the very least. Small forward Malcolm Rosas has also requested a move elsewhere, with Richmond or Sydney viewed as the likely landing spots.
