The start of the AFL season is a month away, meaning SuperCoach teams are continuing to undergo tweaks as track reports and injury news come through.

With pre-season matches around the corner, more changes are set to be made, but the bones of most teams are likely to be locked in given the range of rookies and mid-priced bargains on offer.

With the season near, we've taken a look at 60 of the most popular SuperCoach selections for 2026, breaking down 10 players per position and the 20 most-picked dual position players.

The No.1 owned player in SuperCoach, at the time of writing, is Carlton midfielder Jagga Smith, who comes in at $119,900 after spending his debut season on the sidelines. Smith has been picked in 75% of teams, 5% more than the next best in midfield-forward option Harry Sheezel.

Carlton ruck-forward Liam Reidy (66%), St Kilda recruit Sam Flanders (64%) and rookies Dyson Sharp (63%) and Zeke Uwland (61%) are the only other players beyond the 60% mark.

Despite his price tag of $687,300, North Melbourne's Tristan Xerri is the most popular non-DPP ruckman, while Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera has that title among the defenders.
