Gold Coast Academy graduate Lachlan Gulbin will debut on Friday against Port Adelaide.

Known for his combativeness and tackle intensity, Gulbin has been forcing his name into selection consideration for large chunks of 2025, and has now earned himself a place in Damien Hardwick's side.

The 19-year-old joined the Suns via the Rookie Draft last year and has played 15 VFL games this season before receiving this debut call-up.

He had previously played in the club's reserves side as a non-AFL-listed player, featuring 10 times in 2024.

Across the past two seasons, Gulbin has averaged 9.5 disposals, 3.5 tackles, three marks and just under a goal a game.
