Richmond defender Dylan Grimes could be in hot water following his late hit on Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott.
With just four minutes remaining in Richmond's 44-point loss to the Pies, Grimes collected Elliott with an elbow, sending the small forward to the floor.
Given the match was on a Thursday night, Match Review Officer Michael Christian will assess the incident and hand down his verdict on Friday.
100% he should get a week, laughable Jimmy Bartel trying to downplay it as a push…a push with a direct elbow to the face at pace. Yeah real pushing motion/action. Grimes is lucky Elliott has a solid jaw or he would be out for a lot longer then 1 week with his deliberate act.
