Carlton superstar Charlie Curnow is reportedly keen to leave the Melbourne bubble and join the Gold Coast Suns, while two more clubs are said to be other potential landing spots for the key forward.

Curnow is under contract and would need the approval of the Blues to secure a move elsewhere up until the end of 2029.

The two-time Coleman Medal winner is arguably Carlton's most important asset, but is said to be keen on moving to the Suns.

According to 9 News reporter Tom Morris, Curnow isn't unhappy with the Blues but is believed to be looking for a "lifestyle" change.

The Suns are aware of Curnow's interest, while two Victorian clubs are said to be "keeping tabs" on the situation.

"Dual-Coleman medallist Charlie Curnow would like to play for the Gold Coast Suns," Morris reported on Tuesday night.

"This is based around lifestyle, living in Melbourne and the football bubble, and getting out of the spotlight in Melbourne.

"Crucially, Carlton knows this, and have told him he is not for sale. Graham Wright also met with his management when the possibility of a move north was floated.

"It was made clear that Curnow is a required player and contracted until 2029.

"His agitations have also piqued the interest of at least two other Victorian clubs, who are keeping tabs on his availability, no matter how unlikely a trade is at this point."

According to AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey, Sydney and Geelong have emerged as other clubs Curnow could be open to joining.

"Sydney and Geelong are the other clubs he'd be open to exploring," Twomey said on Gettable.

"The idea of getting out of the Melbourne bubble... we know the amount of time he spends on the surf coast of Geelong, where he's from.

"This is an evolving story."

Curnow joined Carlton via the 2015 AFL Draft and has played 148 games in the navy blue, leading the club's goalkicking in four separate seasons, as well as 2025.

He is a two-time All-Australian and a member of the leadership group under coach Michael Voss.
