Zero Hanger 2025 Finals Tipping: Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Zero Hanger AFL Finals 2025 Tipping Competition (“Competition”) conducted by Zero Digital Media Pty Ltd (“Promoter”).
1.2 By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over.
2.2 Employees of the Promoter, its related entities, and any sponsorship partners (and their immediate families) may participate but are not eligible for any preferential treatment.
2.3 Entry into the Competition is free; however, internet connection and data charges may apply.

3. Registration & Entry

3.1 To enter, participants must register for a user account at zerohanger.com/register.
3.2 A valid date of birth must be provided to verify eligibility (18+).
3.3 False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in disqualification.
3.4 Acceptance of these Terms is required for participation.

4. Competition Period

4.1 The Competition runs for the duration of the 2025 AFL Finals Series, commencing from the first match of the Finals through to the AFL Grand Final.
4.2 This Competition is a standalone tipping competition and is not a continuation of the 2025 AFL regular season competition.

5. How to Play

5.1 Before the start of each Finals match, participants must submit a tip (prediction) for the winning team at zerohanger.com/tipping-finals/.
5.2 Tips must be lodged prior to the scheduled kickoff time of each match. Once a match begins, tips for that match are locked and cannot be altered.
5.3 If no tip is submitted for a match, the participant will receive zero (0) points for that match.

6. Scoring System

6.1 Points are awarded for each correct tip, calculated using the official PointsBet odds: Odds × 100 = Points Earned.
6.2 An incorrect tip scores zero (0) points.
6.3 A drawn match will earn the participant 50% of the odds-converted points.
6.4 Odds are dynamic and updated in real time. Participants may update their tips any time prior to match kickoff.

7. Tie-Break System

7.1 In addition to tipping, participants must also select a winning margin for the first game of each Finals round (including the Grand Final).
7.2 The difference between the selected margin and the actual margin will be added to the participant's aggregate margin score.
7.3 At the conclusion of the Finals Series, if two or more participants are tied on points, the participant with the lowest aggregate margin score will be ranked higher.
7.4 If no margin is selected it will default to 0 for that game.
7.5 In the event of a further tie, ranking will be determined by the time of tip submission (exact process to be finalised and communicated prior to the Finals commencing).
7.6 In the event of a further tie, the promoter and/or its partners reserves the right to invoke a skill-based challenge to determine the winner.

8. Results & Recognition

8.1 The Competition is for entertainment purposes only.
8.2 No prizes, monetary or otherwise, are awarded.
8.3 Final leaderboards may be published on Zero Hanger platforms, at the discretion of the Promoter.

9. Fair Play & Disqualification

9.1 Participants must not create multiple accounts, use automated systems, or otherwise attempt to gain an unfair advantage.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant found breaching these Terms.
9.3 The Promoter's decision regarding disputes is final and binding.

10. Changes & Cancellation

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition if required due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
10.2 Any changes will be communicated via the website and/or email.

11.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.

12. Liability
