Sydney coach Dean Cox has remained coy about his meeting with wantaway Carlton spearhead Charlie Curnow.
Channel 7's Mitch Cleary revealed that the pair met before Curnow jetted off to an overseas holiday following the completion of the 2025 season.
The Swans are desperate for a key forward, and the two-time Coleman Medallist fits the bill, especially since he has flagged a scenery change and a move away from Ikon Park.
However, Carlton is keen to hold Curnow to his lucrative contract, which expires at the end of 2029.

Cox was quizzed about the meeting with the Blues star on SEN.
"I think you know I won't talk about anything that does or doesn't happen," Cox said.
"That's one thing that I've always thought … if you do have meetings, or if you don't even have them, everything is done behind closed doors, and that's the way we'll keep it."
Sydney has a strong track record of luring big-name forwards to the club, notably including champion goalkickers Tony Lockett, Barry Hall, and Lance Franklin.
And Curnow is well and truly on their list.

"I think any player where they're out of contract or they're open to a trade … we have to improve our list.
"We're 12-11, we're not playing football this weekend, which is our ultimate goal. No matter who it is, we need to make sure we scour around the competition for players we think will benefit our football club.
"From there, the logistics that happen … is it attainable through trade, draft and what we have to do through that process? There's a lot of work, but a lot of hypotheticals as well."
The Blues have already lost free agents Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni to St Kilda, while they have asked contracted midfielder Elijah Hollands to seek a new home for 2026.
Carlton has farewelled Sam Docherty (retired), Orazio Fantasia (delisted), Alex Cincotta (delisted) and Harry Lemmey (delisted).
