Comedian Matt Stewart says the pain of "supporting St Kilda makes you a different kind of person" on the second episode of Kickin' Gags.

Stewart - nearly a lifelong St Kilda supporter - blames his uncle for converting him from a Carlton fan to the Saints as a child, ahead of the Blues' 1995 premiership.

"My uncle John took me into the front room away from everyone else, sat me down, he goes, 'Matt, you go for the Saints fan now, and I said, "OK John," and I've been a Saints supporter ever since. That was pretty cruel ... he cost me. Since then it's been pretty similar between the Saints and the Blues, but it would have been nice..." he exhaled.

Stewart talks through the painful memories of the Saints' AFL Grand Final failures and his own local footy experiences.
