Gold Coast small forward Malcolm Rosas Jnr has reportedly told the club that he will be seeking a trade, but has yet to officially nominate the AFL club he would like to join.
It is believed that Richmond and Sydney are frontrunners for Rosas' services, although cross-town rivals Brisbane were interested in him 12 months ago.
The Suns academy graduate has struggled to cement his spot under Damien Hardwick in the past two seasons, playing 11 games.
Malcolm Rosas Jnr has had his exit meeting today at the Suns and he will be seeking a trade. Has been in open dialogue all year with Gold Coast on his next steps.

Previously, he featured in the senior team on 34 occasions across 2022 and 2023.
But the influx of young talent like Leo Lombard, Jake Rogers, Will Graham and the re-emergence of Sam Flanders has pushed the 24-year-old further down the pecking order.
"The club has also been in ongoing discussions with Malcolm Rosas Jnr and his management throughout the year, and will help facilitate a trade in the coming weeks," the Suns said.
Out of contract, Rosas has performed strongly in the VFL throughout 2025, and could join the Tigers, who have a litany of fleet-of-foot youngsters in their mix.
Richmond, under coach Adem Yze, are attempting to add to its elite fleet of small forwards, adding to the contingent of Seth Campbell, Maurice Rioli Jnr and Steely Green.
Yze has shown a willingness to add chaos to his front-half game plan, utilising the speed and agility of his buzzing forwards, which Rosas Jnr suits.
As for Sydney, the interest comes as Tom Papley needs more assistance inside the forward 50.
Tom Hanily and Jesse Dattoli played a handful of games this season, but failed to lock in a spot.
Sam Wicks' move to the backline only furthered the Swans' need to bolster their pressure forward stocks, while the use of midfielders up forward, such as Isaac Heeney and Chad Warner, was a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
