Ahead of each new season, a captain from each club is quizzed for their pre-season predictions, with all results presented anonymously.
This year's group of skippers have given their thoughts on the following in the lead-up to the 2025 AFL season...
Just three clubs (outside of each captain's own side) have been backed to reach the grand final ahead of what is tipped to be a narrow flag race. A total of nine players have been named as Brownlow Medal contenders, while the Coleman (seven) and Rising Star (12) also have a wide variety of names put forward.
