Richmond's Samson Ryan and Sydney's Angus Sheldrick have both been offered one-match bans by the Match Review Officer.
Ryan's strike on Jordon Sweet was graded as intentional, medium impact to the body, resulting in a one-week ban and once again exposing the Tigers' bare cupboard of rucks.
Richmond faces GWS, whose ruck stocks are headed by Keiran Briggs, in Gather Round.
Toby Nankervis is currently injured for another five to seven weeks, leaving Richmond to either move Campbell Gray, who showed promise in defence on Saturday, back to a less familiar ruck post, or using untried tall Ollie Hayes-Brown.
Hayes-Brown turned in a strong performance in the VFL on Sunday against AFL-listed Isaac Keeler, so the Saints could look to him, with Gray monstered when used as the primary ruck against Fremantle pair Luke Jackson and Sean Darcy
Sheldrick, meanwhile, was handed a suspension for an intentional, low impact, high contact hit on West Coast's Reuben Ginbey in the last quarter of Sydney's big win on Saturday.
The midfielder has averaged 23 disposals and four clearances in 2026 and will miss the top of the table game against Gold Coast.
Dion Prestia, Steely Green, Mitch Georgiades and Sweet all received fixed financial sanctions for engaging in a melee.
