Gillon McLachlan says next week's game in China is not at risk despite predicted high levels of pollution.
A sandstorm is currently causing extremely high and unhealthy levels of pollution through parts of northern China, including Shanghai.
However, McLachlan said on Monday the game is at no risk of being moved.
โWe have a whole series of processes for every contingency,โ McLachlan said.
โThere are a lot of things you canโt control about our game. Thereโs always operational challenges wherever we play the game.
"There is nothing that Iโm aware of that puts the game at risk. Our players and clubs are resilient if there is something but I donโt have anything thatโs worrying me at the moment.
โI got a photo on the weekend of the pitch and it looks, maybe itโs not the MCG, but itโs pretty close. The pitch is in really good order. So everythingโs pretty much in readiness for this weekend.โ
The comments come after Suns coach Rodney Eade said on Sunday the club will not take any players to China who have respiratory problems or who suffer from asthma due to the pollution.
โWe wonโt take any players who have got asthma or have got respiratory problems," Eade said.
โSo thatโll have to all be decided on Tuesday, so there may be some changes (from this weekโs game).โ
The Power take on the Suns at Jianhwan Sports Stadium at 3.15pm AEST on Sunday.
