Adelaide has reportedly tabled a much better deal to Brisbane premiership hero Callum Ah Chee.
The Crows have officially sealed a return to the finals for the first time since the 2017 AFL Grand Final, and are still looking at ways to improve their list.
The West Lakes club has made significant improvements over the past few years in luring stars from rival clubs, such as Jordan Dawson, Izak Rankine, Alex Neal-Bullen, James Peatling and Isaac Cumming.
"You can take it as fact, from everything that I understand," journalist Kym Dillon said on SEN SA.
"The Adelaide Football Club have put an offer in to Callum Ah Chee at the Brisbane Lions.
"He's played 164 games. He was a superstar for them in (last year's) grand final. Out of contract, Adelaide have put quite a healthy proposal to him, so he will wait until the end of the season, and it's up to Brisbane.

"If Brisbane match it, I believe he will stay, but it's significantly better. He's paid unders up there at the moment. (If Brisbane don't match the offer), you will see him in an Adelaide jumper next year."
Ah Chee was a dominant force during the Lions' 2024 finals series that led them to an emphatic grand final victory over Sydney.
The 27-year-old kicked 10 goals over four weeks, including four majors in the decider over the Swans, where he received seven Norm Smith Medal votes.
Ah Chee has spent the past six years in Brisbane after he was drafted by cross-town rivals Gold Coast with Pick 8 in the 2015 National Draft.
The Crows have also been linked to Essendon free agent Sam Draper and St Kilda's Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.
