The Gold Coast Suns are looking into the potential of bringing in troubled Western Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.
The Bulldogs youngster wasn't sighted on the field in 2025 due to personal reasons and will be looking for a fresh start, despite holding a contract for next year.
The Suns competed in their first finals campaign but were eliminated in the semi-finals by the grand finalists and cross-town rivals, Brisbane.
The Gold Coast Suns are doing their due diligence on Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.
They haven’t met him yet, and still quite a few hoops to jump through. But they haven’t ruled out bringing him in via a trade.

The initial interest in Ugle-Hagan suggests that the Queensland club believes it needs to bolster its front half, and has also considered a play for Carlton spearhead Charlie Curnow.
Ugle-Hagan, the former Pick 1, hasn't officially requested a trade, but has been linked with Sydney.
A trade for Ugle-Hagan will come with its complications, given that he is under contract for approximately $800,000 in 2026.
He has played 67 games and kicked 103 goals for the Bulldogs since he was drafted in 2020 from the Oakleigh Chargers.
