Fremantle coach Ross Lyon says midfielder Michael Barlow will return from injury this weekend against Geelong.

Barlow has missed the past two weeks after fracturing his finger against Collingwood in Round 14.

Lyon said he will be unrestricted by the injury and will have a full range of movement and is expected to be fit to play.

"Michael (Barlow) feels really confident. If he gets through training he will play," Lyon said.

The Dockers' coach also said captain David Mundy is likely to take his place in the side, despite suffering a concussion during the loss to Melbourne on the weekend.

"Mundy has been cleared to train, we’re optimistic he will play," he said.

Fremantle host the sixth placed Cats at Domain Stadium on Friday night.
