Four players have recorded a perfect 20 votes as Zero Hanger's AFL MVP race heats up entering the final quarter of the home-and-away season, with another four tallying 19 votes.

Josh Dunkley is one of the four to poll 19 votes, the standout midfielder in Brisbane's dominant win on the road against Carlton.

He bullied the Blues' midfielders in the heat of the contest, winning 14 contested possessions, nine ground ball gets and using the footy at an efficient clip of 82.1%. His seven score involvements were also among the match's best.

Lachie Neale scored well for the Lions too, his 31 disposals and six clearances earning him 15 votes. He currently ranks 14th overall on the leaderboard with 107 total votes this season.

Matthew Rowell starred in Gold Coast's thrilling six-point win over Collingwood, running rampant in the first half with several clearances and inside 50s to his name at the main break.

He finished with 32 disposals, 12 clearances, nine inside 50s, and 13 tackles, all game highs, earning him 19 votes.

Josh Daicos shook off the Pies' lethargy with a brilliant fourth quarter, however, and almost stole the win for the club off his own boot.

Those 16 disposals two goals in the final term left a lasting impression on our voters as he went home with 16 votes, taking his tally to 60 for the season.

Riley Thilthorpe was the first player to achieve a perfect 20 votes this round, kicking a career-high six goals from six attempts to go with nine marks and 17 disposals.

Jordan Dawson closed the gap between him and the first-placed Nick Daicos in this game also, polling 11 votes after recording 27 disposals and two goals.

Daicos, who recorded just two votes against Gold Coast on Friday, has had his lead cut to 12, currently on 169 votes to Dawson's 157.

GWS' Aaron Cadman, Richmond's Tim Taranto and Fremantle's Andrew Brayshaw all followed the suit of Thilthorpe to conclude Saturday's day of action, each polling a perfect 20 votes.

Cadman is entering a career-best patch of form as he booted another bag of goals, this time kicking six on the Geelong defence.

Lachie Whitfield was instrumental in his 250th game, picking up 12 votes for his game-high 32 disposals and 11 marks.

In a scrappy match, Taranto's veteran class stood above the rest, wrestling away the Bombers' fourth-quarter lead with clinical foot skills and pressure in the contest.

Obviously, his 34 disposals jump off the stat sheet, but his poise to slot an early fourth quarter goal in a game which featured just 10 majors was crucial to securing Richmond's fourth win of the year.

Bloodied and bruised, Brayshaw paved the way to a signature win in Fremantle's 2025 season, winning 29 disposals, six clearances and laying a game-high 14 tackles against the Hawks on Saturday night.

The inspirational leadership by the Dockers' captain ensured he polled 20 votes, sending him into the top three of the AFL MVP leaderboard with 151 total in 2025.

Sunday's fixtures saw two players record 19 votes; Christian Petracca and Jason Horne-Francis.

Petracca had arguably his best game this season against the Kangaroos, winning 31 disposals and 14 contested possessions off the classy ruck work of Max Gawn (5 votes), also kicking his first goal since Round 12.

Horne-Francis got into plenty of scuffles with the Eagles, but let his game do the talking in the critical moments of the game.

His two late goals sealed an ugly win for the Power, thriving off the midfield work from Zak Butters (17 votes), whose 38 disposals were the third-highest tally of his career.
