Veteran Callan Ward is playing consistent footy for the first time in three years, and has shown how much his presence was missed.
But it's 22-year-old defender Isaac Cumming who has really broken out to be one of the 2021's best defenders.
After struggling to break into the Giants' best-22 across first three seasons with the league's youngest club, Cumming is now one of the first names on the whiteboard on selection night.
Having doubled his average disposals this season as well as putting together career-highs in almost every stat, Cumming has easily been one of the league's most improved names.
