Collingwood ruckman Darcy Cameron is anticipated to recommit to the Magpies and turn his back on interest from multiple clubs, with a fresh deal anticipated to almost "double his pay".

Cameron is contracted wth the Magpies until the end of next year but has earned the interest of both West Coast and Carlton, with the latter potentially preparing a move if Tom De Koning departs Princes Park at the end of this year.

West Coast's play for Cameron could be a move to lure the 29-year-old back to his home state and hold the leading ruck role at the Eagles.

Collingwood has remained confident they'll secure Cameron's services beyond the 2026 campaign, with the premiership Magpie seemingly settled in black and white amid a career-best year.

Speaking on Triple M, reporter Ryan Daniels revealed Cameron is expected to stay with Collingwood on a new deal that would see his current salary almost doubled.

"He's one of, I think, the top three ruckmen in the AFL, he's definitely having a top-three ruckman season," Daniels said.

"Collingwood got him at a bargain. He came from Sydney, and now is a premiership player. He's been on about $450,000-$500,000 a year, which is unders for what he is producing. He is far outperforming that contract.

"The talk was that West Coast have interest in him, they do have some interest in him. Carlton, of course, are monitoring him because of the De Koning situation.

"I am told he will stay at Collingwood. So the whole him going to West Coast thing is not going to happen.

"Collingwood is going to come to the table. They're almost going to double his pay. He's got a year to go (on his current deal). They'll scrap that, and he'll get multiple years on that.

"I don't know how long it'll take for them to go through the process of it, but the confidence is there now that he will stay.โ€

Cameron ranks as one of the competition's best ruckmen, with his craft in the middle of the ground, coupled with his ability to have an impact behind the ball and in the front half, placing him in All-Australian contention.
