After a masterful performance conducting proceedings on Friday night, Nick Daicos has found himself sitting pretty atop the Zero Hanger MVP ladder.
36 disposals, two majors, 12 inside 50s and the third-most tackles on the field were enough for the headline-hogging jet to claim maximum votes - one of four players to earn the distinction this weekend. The other three did so for the first time this season.
They were Fremantle's Caleb Serong, Melbourne's Kysaiah Pickett and North Melbourne's Finn O'Sullivan.
Tom Stewart fell one vote short of the maximum, as did Brisbane's son of a gun Will Ashcroft, while Eagles spearhead Jake Waterman garnered 18 votes for his role in West Coast's stirring comeback.
Harley Reid backed up a perfect outing last week with another strong, vote-catching performance this week, moving him into the top five.
Key position players are a feature of the top 10, with the influence of Max Gawn, Callum Wilkie and Josh Treacy yielding plenty of votes in the season's early sledding.
Zero Hanger's Jonty Ralphsmith, Harrison McIlwaine, Aidan Cellini and Mitch Keating will each give their 5-4-3-2-1 for every game of the home and away season. The player with the most votes at season's end will be named the Zero Hanger AFL MVP, powered by Winning Edge Presentations.
